We are grateful at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church for a leadership team whose lives are anchored in Christ and focused on His purposes.  Meet the devoted people who shepherd us spiritually.

Pastor Floyd R McClure

Senior Pastor

Floyd R. McClure was appointed to serve as Antioch Missionary Baptist Church's Senior Pastor in March 2010. Before that, he served as the Associate Minister of Second Baptist Church of Erie, Pennsylvania, from 2002 to 2009.

Pastor McClure was born in West Memphis, Arkansas, and is the eldest of nine children. He completed his education in Meadville, Pennsylvania. After a rewarding career as a Computer Systems Analyst and Project Manager at St. Vincent Health Center, he retired in 2015. He was ordained as a Deacon at Second Baptist Church in October 1994 and licensed to preach in September 2002. He was further ordained as a minister at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, by the Allegheny/Beaver Valley Association in December 2002.

Beyond spiritual leadership at Antioch, Pastor McClure is deeply committed to community service. Antioch has been blessed to have a Bible scholar and dynamic teacher at the helm, with a heart for people.

Rooted daily in faith, I trust that God's guidance will never lead us astray.  "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:33  This verse reminds me to turn to Him for all things.

Favorite Bible verse:  "If God is for us, who can be against us?"  Romans 8:31

Reverend Timothy Shannon

Associate Minister

As an associate minister, I come with a servant’s posture, focusing on the team's success rather than personal recognition. I understand that my calling is to support and lead from a fellow worker’s position, alongside the Pastor and under God. I preach, teach, visit, and counsel guided by my gifts and the needs of the church.  I have a joyful spirit that shows love and compassion for all people.

I once served as a Deacon Chairman and now add Sunday School teacher and Praise Team Music ministry to my current service at the church.

Favorite Bible verse:  Proverbs 3:5-6
