These individuals serve as a compassionate and dedicated health ministry, providing on-site first aid, emergency medical care, and comfort to congregants during worship services, funerals, and church events. They support the church body physically and spiritually, often managing health education and promoting wellness within the congregation.
While some members may be licensed nurses (RNs, LVNs), licensure is not required. Those interested in becoming members of this ministry are generally required to be trained and certified in CPR and First Aid.
